SO, Kristen and I arranged to kidnap her and take her to Frisco for the weekend. We've synchronized our celebratory schedule with the outside lands music festival.. its unlike anything i've ever experienced.
The tunes are amazing but what stands out most is the green vibe weaving way beyond the usual outdoor event of this size. For example: bring along your own canteen? All water refills are FREE! Your phone died? The ecoland area has a kiosk where you can charge them vis. a. viz. solar/wind power. Most stages' generators are running on biodiesel. Last but not least; the farmer’s market, organic cotton and bamboo band merchandise, composting demos, rewards recycling programs, biker's discounts. It goes on and on.
We've been having so much fun- but are really looking forward to a chance to explore the city itself some more on Monday.
